Send a Schoolbox message to the classroom

If you don't see this

• It needs the Schoolbox permission on your child's account. A director grants it under the child's connected users.

Some classrooms let parents start Schoolbox messages. If yours does, a compose button appears on the Schoolbox screen.

Steps

1. Switch to the child the message is about. See Switch between your children.
2. Open Schoolbox and tap the compose button at the bottom right.
3. In New Message, type a Subject and your message in Write message.

4. Pick the classroom under Recipients.
5. Add files with Add attachment if needed.
6. Tap Send.

Tips

• For quick back-and-forth with teachers, ClassChat is faster. See Chat with your child's teachers.
• Leaving before sending asks Exit without sending? Tap Keep editing to stay.

Troubleshooting

• No compose button. The classroom does not accept parent messages in Schoolbox. Use ClassChat or call the office.
