Sign your child in or out with the QR code

If you don't see this

• It needs the Approved Pickup permission on your child's account. A director grants it under the child's connected users.

Your school posts an attendance QR code at the entrance. Scanning it proves you are at school, so you can sign your child in or out from your own phone.

Before you start

• You must be an approved pickup for the child, and the school must have approved you.

Steps

1. Scan the school's QR code with your phone camera. The Asilo app opens on Attendance. Or open My Day and tap Attendance.

2. With several children, pick the child in Attendance. Each row shows "Not signed in yet", "Signed in at …" or "Signed out at …".
3. Tap Sign In (or Sign Out).

4. If you started from My Day, the camera opens. Point it at the QR code.
5. If your school requires a signature, sign and tap Confirm.

Troubleshooting

• "Invalid QR Code." You scanned a different code. Scan the Asilo attendance code posted by the school.
• "Pending Approved Pickup." The director has not approved you yet.
• "Permission Denied." Tap Allow Camera Use and turn on the camera for Asilo.
• "No Connected Children." You are not an approved pickup for any child. Contact the director.
• Using the kiosk instead. Type your Attendance PIN. See View or change your PIN.
