What Autopay Lock means

If you don't see this

• It needs the Billing permission on your child's account. A director grants it under the child's connected users.
• Your school must have Parent billing turned on. It's a school setting, ask your director.
• Your school must have Autopay Lock turned on. It's a school setting, ask your director.

With Autopay Lock, your school requires autopay for tuition. The autopay sheet shows "Your school requires autopay to be turned on" in red.

What changes for you

• Action Required shows "Your school requires autopay. Tap to Set" until you choose a card or bank account. You may also get an Autopay Required email.
• Disable Autopay is hidden.
• You cannot delete the card or bank account autopay uses, or untick a child autopay already covers. The app shows "Your school requires autopay to be turned on".
• When autopay is turned on for you, you get an Automatic Payments Turned On email naming the payment method.

Steps to set it up

1. Tap the Autopay item in Action Required, or open Tuition and tap the autopay icon.
2. Choose or add a card or bank account.
3. Tap Save.

Changing your card

Add the new card, select it in the autopay sheet and tap Save. The old card can be deleted once autopay no longer uses it.

FAQ

• How do I stop autopay? Contact your school. Only the school can cancel your billing schedule.
• What if a bank payment is returned? Autopay turns off and bank payments may be blocked. Set autopay up again with a card. See Why a bank payment failed days later.
