- Admin
- May need approval
- Phone

An approval requirement lets someone create something, but it waits in the Approval Center until an approver signs off.
Before you start
- Finish Set a staff member's permissions first.
Steps
- Open the staff profile and expand Permissions.
- Find a permission with an approval chip:
- Create Schoolbox Messages (messages wait to be sent)
- Create Community Feed Posts (posts wait to be published)
- Create Custom Lessons ("Requires review" before use)
- Send Progress Reports (reports wait before sending)
- Issue Refunds, Delete/Write-Off Invoices, Add Credits (requests wait before processing)
- The chip reads Requires approval or Does not require approval. Tap it to switch.

Tips
- Content (Schoolbox, posts, lessons, progress reports) is approved by staff with Approve Communication Items. Billing requests are approved by staff with Approve Billing Requests.
- Approvers never need approval themselves. Their chips read "Approver, no approval needed".
- Directors, Administrators, and Owners never have content approval requirements.
- New Teachers start with approval on for posts and custom lessons. New Regional Managers start with it on for Schoolbox messages, and new Directors for credits.
