Open Attendance and pick a classroom

If you don't see this

• It needs the Attendance permission. A director grants it under Manage School → Staff → Permissions.

All child attendance starts from the Attendance tile on My Day.

Steps

1. Open My Day and tap Attendance. The badge on the tile shows how many children are signed in.

2. Your rooms are listed under My Classrooms; every other room is under Other Classrooms. Each row shows how many children and teachers are in the room.

3. Tap a classroom. Children are grouped into In This Class, In Other Class, and Not Present, with the room's Teachers at the bottom.
4. Use Search Children at the top to find any child in the school.
5. Tap the back arrow to return to the classroom list.

Tips

• The calendar icon at the top switches to another day. See Take attendance for an earlier day.
• The bar at the bottom shows the school's total signed in, for example 42/57. Tap it on the classroom list to open the Fire List.
• Directors see a settings icon on a classroom to edit the classroom.

Troubleshooting

• No Attendance tile on My Day. Your account needs the Attendance permission under Classroom Tools.
