Cancel a scheduled Schoolbox message

If you don't see this

• It needs the Create Schoolbox Messages permission. A director grants it under Manage School → Staff → Permissions.

You can cancel a message until it is sent. The person who scheduled it and directors can cancel.

Before you start

• Finish Schedule a Schoolbox message first.

Steps

1. In Schoolbox, tap Outbox. Scheduled messages are at the top with a clock.
2. Press and hold the message.
3. In Cancel scheduled message?, tap Cancel message. Tap Keep to leave it scheduled.

Other way

• Open the scheduled message, tap the arrow next to Clear, and tap Delete. This cancels it straight away, with no confirmation.

Troubleshooting

• The message is still in the list. It may already have been sent. Sent messages can't be cancelled.
