Copy or delete a chat message

Long-press a message in ClassChat to copy its text or, for your own messages, delete it.

Before you start

• Finish Open ClassChat first.

Steps

1. Press and hold the message.
2. Tap Copy to copy the text, or Delete to remove it.

3. For delete, confirm Delete in Delete Message. This can't be undone.

Tips

• You can delete your own messages. Assistant directors and above can also delete other people's messages.
• Deleted messages show as Message deleted for everyone.
• Messages can't be edited. Delete and resend instead.

Troubleshooting

• "Failed to delete message". Check your connection and try again.
