Post photos and videos to the feed

If you don't see this

• It needs the Create Community Feed Posts permission. A director grants it under Manage School → Staff → Permissions.
• This action may go to the Approval Center and take effect once a director approves it.

A post can hold up to 12 photos and videos. Choose who sees it by picking the whole school or a classroom, then tag the children in it.

Before you start

• Finish Find the community feed first.

Steps

1. Open Posts and tap the + button.

2. Select your photos and videos, then confirm.
3. On Add new post, type in Add a caption.
4. Under Classroom, keep Whole school or tap a classroom.
5. If you picked a classroom, all its children are tagged. Untick children under Tag children who aren't in the photos, or use Select everyone.
6. Tap Publish.

Tips

• Drag thumbnails to reorder them. Tap the + tile to add more, or the X on a thumbnail to remove it.
• To attach a lesson and its learning objectives, see Attach a lesson to a post.
• If your posts need approval, the post waits under Approve until a director approves it. See Posts that need approval.

Troubleshooting

• "Too Many Photos". A post can have at most 12 photos and videos. The extras were left out.
• "Video Length". Videos can be up to 60 seconds. Longer ones were removed.
• "Photo access disabled". Tap Enable in App Settings and allow photo access for Asilo.
• Publish is grey. Add at least one photo or video.
