If you don't see this

• It needs the Create Community Feed Posts permission. A director grants it under Manage School → Staff → Permissions.
• It needs the Loris permission. A director grants it under Manage School → Staff → Permissions.

Loris, Asilo's AI assistant, can study the photos in your post and write a caption for families. If it recognizes the lesson, it can attach that too.

Before you start

• Finish Post photos and videos to the feed first.

Steps

1. Add photos or a video to a new post (or open Edit on a photo post).
2. Tap Generate caption with Loris.

3. If the post has more than 5 photos, pick up to 5 in Select Photos for Analysis and tap Continue.
4. Read the suggestion in the Loris chat. Ask for changes if you want a different tone or length.
5. Tap Use In Post. The caption replaces what was in Add a caption.
6. Review the caption and tap Publish.

Tips

• For a video, Loris asks you to describe what happened and writes the caption from that.
• Always read the caption before publishing. You can edit it like any other text.

Troubleshooting

• No Loris button. Add at least one photo or video first. The button also needs the Loris permission.
