If you don't see this

• It needs the Schoolbox permission. A director grants it under Manage School → Staff → Permissions.

Schoolbox is Asilo's message center for school-wide and classroom announcements to families and staff. Messages can also go out as email.

Steps

1. Open Schoolbox:
   • On the web, tap Schoolbox on the sidebar.
   • On a phone, open My Day and tap the Schoolbox card.

2. Pick a chip:
   • Inbox: messages sent to you. The count shows unread messages.
   • Outbox: messages you sent, with your scheduled messages at the top.
   • Archived: messages you archived.
   • Approve: messages waiting for approval.

3. Tap a message to read it. Pull down to refresh.

Tips

• A scheduled message shows a clock and "Scheduled {date}". Tap it to edit or reschedule.
• An envelope icon means the message was also emailed; a paperclip means it has attachments.

Troubleshooting

• No Outbox chip. The Outbox is shown to teachers and directors. Other staff roles see Inbox and Archived only.
