If you don't see this

• It needs the Create Community Feed Posts permission. A director grants it under Manage School → Staff → Permissions.
• It needs the Requires approval permission. A director grants it under Manage School → Staff → Permissions.
• This action may go to the Approval Center and take effect once a director approves it.

Some schools have teachers' posts checked before families see them. Your post is saved but held until approved.

Before you start

• Finish Post photos and videos to the feed first.

What you'll see

1. You publish the post as usual. The compose screen closes with no message.
2. The post does not appear on the Posts chip yet.
3. Tap the Approve chip to find it. Its like, comment and bookmark buttons are grey.

4. When a director approves it, it moves to Posts and families are notified.

FAQ

• Can I change the post while it waits? Yes. Tap the more button on it and choose Edit or Delete.
• Who turns approval on or off? Your director, per staff member, in permissions ("Requires approval" under Create Community Feed Posts).
