Remove a connected adult from a child

If you don't see this

• It needs the My School permission. A director grants it under Manage School → Staff → Permissions.
• This action may go to the Approval Center and take effect once a director approves it.

Remove an adult who should no longer be connected to a child. Depending on your permissions, the removal happens right away or waits for a director.

Before you start

• Finish Open a child's profile first.

Steps

1. Open the child's profile and tap Connected Users (or Approved Pickups or Emergency).
2. Tap the adult.
3. Tap Remove Connected User.

4. In Remove User, tap Delete.
5. If Removal Requested appears ("A director must approve this removal. The connected user stays active until then."), the request is now in the Approval Center.

Tips

• To withdraw a pending request, open the adult and tap Cancel Removal Request.
• To reduce access without removing someone, change their permissions instead. See Set what a parent can see and do for a child.
