Write the Engage, Explore and Reflect steps

Custom lessons use the same three steps as Library lessons. Engage is photo-based; Explore and Reflect are text pages. Every page can carry conversation cards.

Before you start

Steps​

  1. In the builder, under Instructions, tap Step 1 / Engage, Step 2 / Explore or Step 3 / Reflect.
  2. Tap the + button:
    • On Engage, pick photos to add a page per photo.
    • On Explore or Reflect, a new text page appears. Type in Enter instruction text....

  3. To add a question for the children, tap Add Conversation Card under the page. Pick its learning objectives and type the prompt, then close the sheet.
  4. Swipe sideways to move between pages.
  5. Tap Save at the top.
  6. Back in the builder, tap Save as Draft. Step changes are not saved until you do.

Remove content​

  • Text page: tap the trash icon (Delete this page) and confirm Yes.
  • Photo, conversation card: tap its red trash or x. These are removed without asking.

Troubleshooting​

  • "Please select age groups in the project settings first." Choose the lesson's ages in the builder before adding conversation cards.
