Write different content for each age

If you don't see this

• It needs the Create Custom Lessons permission. A director grants it under Manage School → Staff → Permissions.

A custom lesson has one set of content per level (Preschool, Elementary, Middle). When a level covers several ages, you can split it so each age gets its own version.

Before you start

• Finish Build a custom lesson first.

Copy content between ages

1. In the builder, tap the age tab you want to fill.
2. Next to Instructions, tap Copy From.

3. In Copy Instructions From, tap the age to copy.
4. If the tab already has content, tap Replace All to overwrite its instructions, summary, example photos, materials and books.

Split a level by age

1. Select more than one age in the same level.
2. Turn on Advanced: per-age content (Write different instructions for each age group).
3. Each age now has its own tab. Fill each one, or use Copy From and edit.

Tips

• Turning Advanced: per-age content off keeps one version per level and discards the others. You confirm with Turn off, and it can't be undone.
