Each lesson has up to three steps. Engage uses photos to spark curiosity, Explore is the hands-on activity, and Reflect helps children talk about what they learned.

Before you start

• Finish Read a lesson first.

Steps

1. Open the lesson and scroll to Instructions.
2. Tap Engage, Explore or Reflect.
3. On a photo step (usually Engage), swipe through the photos. Tap a photo to show it full screen. The conversation cards for each photo sit underneath; swipe them sideways.

4. On a text step, swipe through the pages (Step 1 of 3 and so on). Tap Conversation Cards ({n}) to see the questions for that page.

5. Close the step to return to the lesson.

Tips

• Tap the domain icons in the corner of a conversation card to see which learning objective it supports.
