Move a lesson plan to another day

If you don't see this

• It needs the Lesson Plan permission. A director grants it under Manage School → Staff → Permissions.

When a day is lost to a closure or a field trip, move its plan instead of rebuilding it.

Before you start

• Finish Use the lesson plan calendar first.

Move one day by dragging

1. Open the lesson plan calendar (the calendar icon on the lesson plan).
2. Press and hold the day you want to move.

3. Drag it onto a day that shows No plan and let go.

Move several days

1. On the calendar, tap Edit.
2. Tap each day you want to move. The count shows as {n} selected.
3. Tap Move.

4. Pick the new starting date.
5. In Confirm ("This will overwrite any existing lesson plans on the selected dates."), tap Continue.

Troubleshooting

• The day won't drop. You can only drop onto an empty day. Days marked School Closed and days that already have a plan don't accept drops. Use Edit, then Move, to overwrite a planned day.
