Open today's lesson plan

Each classroom has one lesson plan per day. Teachers reach it from the Today in Class card on My Day.

Steps​

  1. Open My Day (the My Day tab on phones, My Day on the sidebar).
  2. Check the classroom name at the top. To change it, tap the switch-classroom icon at the top left and pick a classroom under My Classrooms or Other Classrooms.
  3. To look at another day, tap the calendar icon at the top and pick a date.
  4. Tap the Today in Class card.

  5. The lesson plan opens with the classroom name and date at the top.

What's on the plan​

  • Today's Conversations: prompts for Morning Gathering, Lunchtime, Story Time and Math Moment.
  • Activity: the day's lessons from the Library.
  • Related Reading: books that come with the activities.
  • Afternoon Extension: a physical activity and an afternoon activity.
  • Class Bulletin Board: messages for families.
  • Internal Note: a note only staff see.

Troubleshooting​

  • The card says "No Classroom". You are not assigned to a classroom. Tap Choose Classroom and pick one, or ask your director to add you to a classroom.
  • The card says "No Lesson Plan". Nothing is planned for that day yet. Tap Add to pick a lesson from the Library. See Add an activity to the lesson plan.
  • There is no Today in Class card. Your account does not have the Lesson Plan permission.
