If you don't see this

• It needs the Lesson Plan permission. A director grants it under Manage School → Staff → Permissions.

When the day's activity has an at-home extension, you can share a summary of the lesson and its learning benchmarks with families. Shared lessons post to families' feeds automatically at 1:00 pm Eastern.

Before you start

• Finish Plan from the classroom view first.

Steps

1. Open the classroom view of the lesson plan (the classroom's page, then View Lesson Plan).
2. Pick the day on the weekday strip.
3. Find Share with families and tap the toggle to turn it on.
4. Tap View Family Summary to preview what families will see.

Troubleshooting

• There is no Share with families option. The day's activity has no at-home extension. Pick a different activity or leave the day unshared.

FAQ

• Can I share from the lesson plan on My Day? No. The lesson plan opened from Today in Class has no family-share control. Use the Class Bulletin Board there for messages to families.
