Have Loris draft a message, event, note, or tour

  • Draft

Loris can prepare work for you, but it never sends or saves anything on its own. It hands you a draft in the normal Asilo screen, and you finish it there.

Before you start

Steps

  1. Open Loris from My Day or Command Center and ask for what you need, for example "Write a reminder to families with overdue invoices" or "Close the school on Friday for a staff day".
  2. When the draft is ready, Loris shows a button under its reply:
    • Review message: opens a Schoolbox message with the subject, text, and recipients filled in.
    • Review event or Review closure: opens the School Calendar form, already filled in.
    • Review note: opens the CRM communication log for that lead, with the note filled in.
    • Schedule tour: opens the tour booking sheet for that lead with the proposed date and time.
A Loris reply with a Review message button
  3. Tap the button, check and edit the details, and send or save it from that screen as you normally would.

Tips

  • If Loris needs to know which child or family you mean, it opens a picker so you can choose.
  • A message to several families is written once with placeholders such as the parent's and child's names, which Asilo fills in for each family when it sends.
  • A payment reminder to several families does not list each family's exact balance. Ask for one family at a time if you want the amount included.
  • You still need the usual permissions to finish each action, such as Schoolbox or CRM access. Messages may still go to the Approval Center if your school requires approval.
