Generate a post caption with Loris

If you don't see this

• It needs the Loris permission. A director grants it under Manage School → Staff → Permissions.
• It needs the Create Community Feed Posts permission. A director grants it under Manage School → Staff → Permissions.

When you add photos or a video to a post, Loris can write the caption for you, tied to the lesson you are teaching.

Steps

1. Start a new post and add your photos or video.
2. Tap Generate caption with Loris.

3. If the post has more than 5 photos, pick up to 5 under Select Photos for Analysis.
4. Answer Loris's questions:
   • What age are the children that we are working with?
   • Are you working with an Asilo lesson? Tap Yes and pick the lesson, or No and describe the activity in a sentence.
5. Read the caption. Ask Loris for changes in the chat if you want a different tone or length.
6. Tap Use In Post to put the caption in your post, then edit it and publish as usual.

Tips

• If the photos don't seem to match the lesson you picked, Loris asks. Tap Yes, keep this lesson or Change lesson.
• Loris cannot watch videos. For a video-only post, it asks you to describe what happened and writes the caption from that.
• Check names and details before posting. Loris is an AI and can make mistakes.
