Share a progress report with the family

If you don't see this

• It needs the Progress Reports permission. A director grants it under Manage School → Staff → Permissions.
• It needs the Send Progress Reports permission. A director grants it under Manage School → Staff → Permissions.
• This action may go to the Approval Center and take effect once a director approves it.

Sharing sends the report to the child's family through Schoolbox, attached to a message you can edit.

Before you start

• Finish Score a progress report first.

Steps

1. Open the scored report.
2. Tap Share at the bottom (or ⋮ → Share).

3. Under "Would you also like parents to be able to view:", turn Notes and Previous Scores on or off.

4. Tap Next.
5. A Schoolbox message opens, addressed to the child's family with the report attached. Edit the subject or text if you like, then send it.

Tips

• If your school requires approval for progress reports, the message waits in the Approval Center until a director approves it.

Troubleshooting

• No Share button. Your account needs the Send Progress Reports permission.
• "Cannot Share". The report has no scores yet.
