If you don't see this

• It needs the Manage School permission. A director grants it under Manage School → Staff → Permissions.

Operations holds three numbers that drive dashboards and family requirements.

Before you start

• Finish Open Manage School first.

Steps

1. Open Account → Manage School and tap Operations.

2. Fill in the fields you need:
   • Capacity: the total number of children the school can enroll. Utilization and target insights compare enrollment to this number.
   • Required Emergency Contact Count: how many emergency contacts every child must have. Children below this number show as missing emergency contacts.
   • Benefits %: the percentage added on top of wages when payroll cost is calculated (for example, 12.5).
3. Tap Save Changes.

Tips

• Classrooms have their own capacity and child-to-teacher ratio. See Set school and classroom capacity.
• Raising the required emergency contact count immediately flags every child who has fewer contacts, and families see a request to add more.
