If you don't see this

• It needs the Surveys permission. A director grants it under Manage School → Staff → Permissions.
• Your school must have Surveys turned on. It's a school setting, ask your director.
• Your school must have Exit Survey turned on. It's a school setting, ask your director.
• Your school must have Orientation Survey turned on. It's a school setting, ask your director.
• Your school must have Sentiment Survey turned on. It's a school setting, ask your director.

Asilo runs three surveys for you when they are turned on under School Features. They run all the time, so the survey list marks them with ∞ instead of a status.

Before you start

• Finish Turn school features on or off first.

Steps

1. Open Toolkit and tap Survey.
2. Tap the survey marked ∞. The Analytics, Questions, and Recipients tabs work the same as for your own surveys. See Read survey results.

Tips

• Exit Survey: goes to a family after their child leaves your school. When you archive a child, a Send exit survey checkbox appears (checked by default for enrolled children); uncheck it to skip that family. The survey is sent about three days later, and only if the child is still archived then.
• Orientation Survey: goes to a new family about 30 days after their child's confirmed start, so you can act on early feedback.
• Sentiment Survey: goes to a small random share of your active families from time to time to track satisfaction. A family is not picked again for several months.
• Each automatic survey sends one follow-up reminder to people who have not answered.
• The questions in automatic surveys are set by Asilo and cannot be edited, closed, or archived.
• To stop one of them for the whole school, turn it off in School Features. See Turn school features on or off.
