Share a survey with a public link or QR code

If you don't see this

• It needs the Surveys permission. A director grants it under Manage School → Staff → Permissions.
• Your school must have Surveys turned on. It's a school setting, ask your director.

When a survey's recipients are set to Public Link, Asilo creates a link and QR code at launch. Anyone who has it can answer, and answers are anonymous.

Before you start

• Launch a survey with the Public Link audience. See Choose who receives a survey.

Steps

1. Open Toolkit, tap Survey, and tap the survey. It opens on the Analytics tab.
2. Find the Public Link card. It shows the link and a QR code labeled Scan to Take Survey.

3. Tap the copy icon (Copy Link) to copy the link, then paste it into an email, a post, or your website.
4. To use the QR code, show it on screen or take a screenshot to print.

Tips

• The link and QR code only show while the survey is Scheduled or Active. Once it is closed, the link stops accepting answers.
• The same device can answer more than once only when kiosk options are on.
